Silence from the kitchen is never a good sign

So I know when my daughter has been quiet for over an hour there is a problem, but I just can't help but enjoy the quiet time and get on with other things. Today was no exception, when I finally bothered to go into the kitchen this is what I found. It could have, and normally is a lot worse so I got off light this afternoon with just some ripping apart of felt-tip pens and using them as lip stick.
