Can't believe it was 4 years ago today that I was freaking out in a delivery room, demanding an ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital because they wouldn't give me an epidural. I love that Samantha is getting older and able to have more and more interesting conversations with me. She has so much love to give, and is the best big sister ever to her baby Bryce. We started the day by opening some presents, then at Noon I went with her to nursery school to attend her "Birthday Circle". She had her cousin over to play this afternoon, and then all the family over for pizza and cake that Lucy and Samantha decorated. I had toyed with the idea of doing a full on birthday party at a local leisure center before the baby arrived. So glad I came to my senses and didn't do that. I would have been way too stressed out to cope with up to 20 little 3-4 yr olds running around.

Congratulations on your sweet darling! (I have been a little ridiculous over an epidural as well.) Four is a really fun age for me - old enough to have all the talking and interacting and stuff, and young enough to want cuddling and kisses :) I hope y'all's day is so fun!
Happy Birthday Samantha! Hope you guys had a great day. Isn't 4 the best?! I love the things they say and how independent they are (or think they are!) She's so cute in her pictures!
